Acros v Acros II – How does the new Acros II compare?

The original FujiFilm Acros 100 was a widely loved film that produced absolutely stunning images, so how does the new version compare? Well, they look very similar but there some differences we noticed in this side-by-side comparison which was shot with the same settings, in the same light, same lens(Canon 40mm f/2.8) and taken with a Canon EOS3 & Elan 7. As you’ll see, the new Acros II has slightly stronger contrast and stronger tones while the original has a milder contrast and slightly more subtle tones. They both have great exposure latitude and very fine grain.

How were they developed? (Maybe it doesn’t matter – if they were developed the same way/in the same developer?)
