Looking for an extremely versatile B&W film? We recommend TMAX 400 – for being a fast iso B&W film it still has very fine grain. This film has incredible exposure, pushes & pulls well, and has great tones and medium contrast.

MY BLACK WHITE FILM OF CHOICE

Rated 5 out of 5
December 13, 2023

In my own experience TMAX 400 is placed in a high position among my B&W stocks of choice. Ammazing grain, very good contrasts make me always choose it . The only problem here in Brazil is the price, higher than others.

I’ve shot a few rolls of the T-Max 400 and this film has produced the best hit rate of any film I’ve used so far!

Tmax is hands down my favorite black and white film. For being a 400 speed film, it is incredibly “clean”, and the contrast is second to none. Please try it if you haven’t already.
