Supported Film Formats

We scan negatives and slides from nearly every film format. Send us your strips, rolls, or cartridges — we handle the rest.

35mm

Color negatives, black & white negatives, and slide film (E-6) — strips or mounted slides accepted.

120 Medium Format

All 120 negative formats — 6×4.5, 6×6, 6×7, 6×9, and 6×17 panoramic. Color and B&W.

110, 126 & APS

Cartridge format films including 110, 126 (Instamatic), and Advantix (APS). Color, B&W, and slide film accepted.

Standard film formats accepted for scanning and printing

Nonstandard film formats that are not shown above will have an additional charge of $7.00 per frame. Please note we cannot scan photographic prints.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes — this service is for previously developed negatives and slides only. If you have undeveloped rolls, please order our film developing service instead, which includes scanning.
Enhanced scans are 12–18 MB files, ideal for sharing, editing, and prints up to 11×14. This is our most popular option.

Super scans are 49–87 MB files at professional resolution — best for large prints, posters, and commercial use where maximum detail matters.
A postage-paid shipping label is provided at checkout. Place your negatives in protective sleeves or their original envelopes, pack them flat in a padded envelope, attach the label, and drop them in the mail. Your negatives will be returned along with any prints you ordered.
Located in Southern California, mail reaches us in 2–5 days from most of the US. Most scanning orders are completed within 7–8 days of receipt. You’ll receive an email with your web gallery link as soon as we’re done, then your negatives and prints will be mailed back.
Yes, always. Your negatives are returned with every order, along with any prints. We never keep or discard original film.
Some unusual or oversized formats require additional handling and may incur a surcharge. If you have questions about your specific film format, feel free to contact us before ordering.
No problem. You can download and print our order form and postage-paid label. Fill it out and mail it along with your negatives — no online order required.
