Infrared Photography Direct sunlight across the whole scene makes it easier to meter

Direct sunlight across the whole scene makes it easier to meter and get the proper exposure which is why the sky isn’t over exposed in this photo. When shooting with color IR film it’s good practice to track your shots, one shot even exposed, one under exposed by a stop, and one over exposed by a stop.
