Earl Gray 100 resembles Lady Grey 400 but with much finer grain which makes it ideal for shooting on bright sunny days.  it has higher contrast, strong tones, and good exposure latitude.

Great B&W film!

Admittedly I have only shot a few rolls of this, but I’m a big fan so far! I’ve shot both at box speed and pushed to 200 iso with great results. Pushing it gives a really nice “vintage” look, but it still remains fairly grain free. Definitely a good film to try out if you haven’t!

Forgiving Film

As a beginner this was a really forgiving film to shoot. I probably made every mistake possible, and even then got some really nice shots with good contrast.

Ease of use

I enjoyed using my first roll of Earl Grey 100. Used and developed at box speed. It produced as advertised – good clear blacks and nice highlights. It looks and feels like a Kodak film to me as there was more black and white contrast in the negatives. Very happy with the results.
