Harman Switch Azure 125 is a brand new ISO 125 creative color negative film that delivers bold, surreal color shifts and a distinctly experimental look. Unlike traditional color films designed for accuracy and natural skin tones, Harman Azure leans heavily into turquoise blues and pinkish magentas, transforming everyday scenes into something far more cinematic and otherworldly. Yellows, tans, and browns often shift toward vibrant turquoise tones, while skies frequently render in pink and magenta hues. Grain is moderate for a 125 ISO film, contrast is noticeable, and exposure latitude is more limited than standard consumer color stocks, making precise metering important.

In our testing, Harman Azure proved to be one of the more unique creative films currently available. The closest modern comparison would be Lomochrome Turquoise, but the two are not identical. While Lomochrome Turquoise often introduces stronger orange tones, Harman Azure leans more toward cooler magentas and pinks, giving it a slightly different balance overall. Greens tend to remain relatively unchanged, which can either complement a scene or create contrast depending on composition. We found that this film performs best in even, moodier light such as overcast or foggy conditions, and it rewards minimalistic compositions where the color shifts can take center stage.

Harman Azure 125 is not designed for color accuracy or traditional portrait work. Instead, it’s a film made for experimentation, creative projects, and photographers who enjoy seeing familiar scenes rendered in completely unexpected ways. When shot at box speed and not overexposed, it produces bold, consistent results that feel intentional rather than accidental.
