Of the three FujiFilm slide films, Provia 100f is by far the most versatile.  For being slide film it has decent exposure latitude, medium saturation and contrast.  It’s our favorite portrait slide film because it does well with skin tones, not making them go to red, especially the n shooting in even light.  Pay close attention to your exposure when shooting this film since all slide film doesn’t have high exposure latitude, meaning it doesn’t do to well with over exposure.

Sharp, clean, great colour rendition

I just got back some scans for a series of images I made from a roll of Fuji Provia 100 slide film (from a roll of 12 frames). I’ve never used slide film before, and I am really impressed with its clarity, absence of grain, and colour rendition. Some of the images almost feel digitally created. I have another roll ready to go…

Great slide film with a little latitude

Great saturation & contrast, but not over saturation. Blacks are black & not color shifted. You can over expose about 1 stop & still have a great image. Easy to scan & not super expensive.
