JCH  Streetpan 400 &  Yashica  Electro 35

JCH Streetpan 400 + Yashica Electro 35

Since this rangefinder only has an auto aperture priority mode with no exposure compensation, all of these were shot at 200 iso and were developed normally as 400 which is the 1 stop overexposure.

When shooting with B&W film you want to err on overexposure so this technique is ideal for cameras that don’t have manual control or exposure compensation.

If you have manual exposure/exposure compensation there is no need to underrate your film since you can overexpose while metering.
